WHERE DO YOU NEED SAFE DRINKING WATER?
09.14.2009 - Global Hydration is deployed by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) to a remote First Nations community facing a water emergency.
When a remote First Nations community in
Northwestern Ontario was left without safe drinking
water after E. coli was found present in the
distribution system, Indian
and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) chose to deploy
Global Hydration and their Can Pure™
Water Purification System.
Global Hydration's immediate, same-day response
positioned their field technician on site at the
community to operate a state-of-the-art Model #4
which produced, for residential distribution, over
10,000 liters of safe drinking water in three days.
When compared with the traditional response of flying in bottled water, the deployment of the Can Pure™ WPS saved over $265,000 and eliminated 66,000 plastic water bottles from entering this remote community's fragile environment.
For more information how the Can Pure™ WPS could be used to help your community or agency, please contact:

- Global
Hydration completes water purification project for
60 person remote drill camp in NW Ontario.
On June 1, 2009, Global Hydration successfully
completed a custom water purification project for a
60 person remote drill camp in the James Bay
lowlands of Northwestern Ontario. Contracted by
Matrix Aviation Solutions, Global Hydration
designed, installed, commissioned and completed
training for a remote camp water purification and
distribution system. The switch from bottled water
to on-site water treatment presented the camp with a
means of reducing operating costs and supply chain
resources associated with flying in supplies of
bottled water.
