01.28.2008 - Global Hydration releases 1800 GPD Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System (ROWPU) with salt or fresh water capability.

 

Global Hydration is pleased to announce the release of it's latest Can Pure WPS module which will allow users to desalinate and purify fresh, brackish or salt water sources using innovative RO and UV Technologies. The recently released Can Pure 1800 GPD ROWPU module brings a new level of portability, functionality and ruggedness to the ROWPU market.

 

Global Hydration is pleased to announce that it has partnered with North Coast Outfitters Ltd. to add mobility to its new ROWPU desalination module using the unique Charlie's Horse Deployment System - www.charlieshorse.com. One of the most compact, rugged and field rated Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Systems ever produced is now the most mobile. Global Hydration's 1800 GPD ROWPU module is easily deployed by a single individual with no logistical support thanks to the Charlie's Horse Deployment System.

 

The Can Pure WPS ROWPU module is part of a larger host of solutions featuring microfiltration for high turbidity and challenging water sources, diesel and JP8 powered portable pumping capability, multi-head distribution systems for complex camps (diesel or electric), food grade portable bladders and hose packages and water quality/monitoring testing kits.

01.01.2007 - Global Hydration donates AQUATABS® to help safely rehydrate sick children in Guatemala.

Global Hydration is very excited to announce its recent partnership with the hard working Canadian NGO "Wells of Hope". While drilling wells for long term use, Wells of Hope also works to immediately improve the lives of those families it encounters. Global Hydration has donated enough AQUATABS® to produce over 1,000,000 L of safe drinking water which will be used to rehydrate over 40,000 sick children. Waterborne disease is a leading factor in the health of children in the area where the mortality rate can be as high as 45%. AQUATABS® will make an immediate and significant impact in this region.

10.01.2006 - Global Hydration releases the Can Pure™ WPS LT-22, little brother to the Can Pure™ WPS 5000-C.

Global Hydration is pleased to announce the release of the Can Pure™ WPS LT-22, the next generation of compact, lightweight and fully functional field ready water purification systems. Weighing in at 70 lbs, the LT-22 is one man operable, requires no electricity, and can produce over 27,000 L of bacteriologically safe water per day. The LT-22 has a low capital cost and even lower operating costs. The LT-22 can produce 1,350 x 20 L (5 gal.) bottles of safe drinking water per day - enough to support over 5,000 people. The LT-22 uses microfiltration and AQUATABS® Water Purification Tablets to inactivate bacteria, virus and cysts.

09.01.2006 - Global Hydration participates in Canada's  largest ever HUSAR exercise as the O.P.P. Provincial Emergency Response Team uses their Can Pure™ WPS to support over 100 rescuers during this 3 day event.

See the Can Pure™ Water Purification System (WPS) in action on the Discovery Channel - Daily Planet. This episode documents 'Operation Joint Forces', the largest ever Heavy Urban Search and Rescue (HUSAR) exercise in Canada in which the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) - Provincial Emergency Response Team used their Can Pure™ WPS to provide safe water for over 100 rescuers for over 3 days.
