Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services - Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR) chooses Global Hydration.

Global Hydration is pleased to announce that the Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services Urban Seach and Rescue Team (USAR) has chosen Global Hydration to update their portable, emergency water purification system capability. Also known as CANTF-1,  the team has expanded its cache of water purification equipment to include a Can Pure Model #5 portable water purification system, Spectra reverse osmosis water purification unit (ROWPU) and complete logistics package including potable water storage bladders, intake strainer and chlorination system.

CANTF-1 is one of five heavy urban search and rescue teams able to deploy anywhere in Canada. CANTF-1 is also the only canadian team certified to be deployable internationally by the Coordinator for UN Emergency Response efforts. For more information please visit http://www.can-tf1.org/ .
